Hurting Everybody (free) 04:06
So it goes Another story of a broken family Who's to know That this fairytale wan't all it seemed So we go Through the reasons like it's never meant to be All I know... Is that I'm Hurting Everybody I love Trying to escape from this place Losing everything I have Can you deliver me from this mess? Take your time Life is not a series of happy meals It's alright To be lonely, late, poor & free Just to find Who we are and what we really need Otherwise... We'll end up Hurting everybody we love Trying to escape from this place Losing everything we have Tell me who'll deliver me from this mess? No one No one Will ever know you see Not you Not me It won't be written down in history I gave My all You were all that you thought you could be As we Ignore The very essence of you and me Is that I'm Hurting Everybody I love Try to escape from this place Losing everything we have Can you deliver me from this mess? I'm hurt...

Good People 03:22
Open up the newspaper you know what I read? Changing our laws so we can detain refugees Saying border security's a good thing to have We're just good people trying to protect God's land Turning on the TV screen you know what I see? Sending my brothers sisters to die in the name of peace Saying when all these 'evil' people are taken down We're gonna teach them how to be good just like us. Dude, look around. When I was young, Mama always said When you grow up be like Jesus, He's a peace lovin' man So i vow to God never to be 'good' again Coz being 'good' is giving my Jesus a bad name Rocked up to the church house well you know who I met? It's a private table of world leaders plotting in the Lord's name So with a help of a friend we turn the table upside down Say we're gonna have to ask you 'good people' to leave my father's house When I was young, Mama always said When you grow up be like Jesus, He's a peace lovin' man So i vow to God never to be 'good' again Coz being 'good' is giving my Jesus a bad name Bush, Blair, Howard if you ever hear this song Know that my Jesus he'd be singing along He'd be crying his heart out everytime you oppress a man So you won't get his vote as part of your 'good' plan When I was young, Mama always said When you grow up be like Jesus, He's a peace lovin' man So i vow to God never to be 'good' again Coz being 'good' is giving my Jesus a bad name When I was young, Mama always said When you grow up be like Jesus, He's a peace lovin' man So i vow to God never to be 'good' again Coz being 'good' is giving my Jesus a bad name Being 'good' is giving my Jesus a bad name Being 'good' is giving my Jesus a bad name

Once again You have come to me with all your Doubts and fears Wondering if we'll ever make it To the end Come on, honey I don't make no empty promises, no If you left me for the world I will follow you til the end of time If you left me for the world Lost and found Why you wanna go back there for Turn around So much yet for us to learn so Come on now Didn't you here me? I don't make no empty promises, no If you left me for the world I will follow you til the end of time If you left me for the world If you left me Baby if you left me If you left me Baby if you left me If you left me Baby if you left me If you left me Baby if you left me I don't make no empty promises, no If you left me for the world I will follow you til the end of time If you left me for the world

Maybe time will heal all things Maybe it's just gonna pass you by Maybe time will not do a thing Maybe this time you will make it right Far form home So long to go To find where you belong Far from home Maybe there's a place for you Half way 'round this crazy world Maybe it's just a phase for you Or you could treat it like a precious pearl Mm Mm It's so cold Yeah Eh The rain and snow Sometimes You feel the sun It shines Still you are... Far form home So long to go To find where you belong Far from home Far form home So long to go To find where you belong Far from home

They say you got to burn to shine Don't be afraid you've come this far The purest gold must be refined You'll rise again Blackstar Against the stronghold of oppression We'll over come our fears with love They're gonna taste the revolution When you rise again Blackstar

Winding down from another round of Russian Roulette Mesmerised By your own routine of life Taking time to count the colours Of the evening sky Trying to not to feel guilty Being late for tea Not going back today Waitin' all along just to hear you say Not going home tonight Coz I'm looking for a friend Who can give some peace of mind Fill your mind with another wise-up Chinese Proverb Looking forward To a good game of love Then you sprain your ankle Just before the whistle Trying not to cry Hidden deep in the crowd Not going back today Waitin' all along just to hear you say Not going home tonight Coz I'm looking for a friend Who can give some peace of mind Not going back today Waitin' all along just to hear you say Not going home tonight Coz I'm looking for a friend Who can give some peace of mind Not going back today Waitin' all along just to hear you say Not going home tonight Coz I'm looking for a friend Who can give some peace of mind

Banksia 04:13
They play the songs The ones that make me think of you And I do I miss you I see the stars The ones that make me dream of you And I do I dream of you These days are hard to bare Even without a care I have no peace to share Without you When it comes 'round The day that we were meant to be Oh I'll be Holding you Now there's just me The me I hope you wanna see Oh I pray That you wait These days are hard to bare Even without a care I have no peace to share Without you Oh... You're my Banksia Oh... You're my Banksia These days are hard to bare Even without a care I have no peace to share Without you

Still Cry 04:44
I still cry for you Still cry for you Still cry for you Yeah, everything's fine Moved on with life Still cry for you A song came on On my radio When I was cruising in my car It said, in time We can make up our minds... It's a choice we can make To forget All the scars It's been so long Really should be strong..er But I Still cry for you Still cry for you Still cry for you Yeah, everything's fine Moved on with life Still cry for you It's the little things That bring back all Painful memories The song you sang Still ringing Ringing Ringing in my mind Captured my heart With your bitter sweet Mournful melodies Gotta let it go Gotta take control Nobody knows That I Still cry for you Still cry for you Still cry for you Yeah, everything's fine Moved on with life Still cry for you Oh Still cry, still cry Still cry, still cry Still cry, still cry Still cry, still cry Still cry, still cry Still cry, still cry Still cry, still cry Still cry, still cry Oh

Said, 'put your money on the plate' As he dispenses the grace Handed me a box of tablets Said, 'take one son and go in peace' Mr chemist man Won't you lift me up Won't you help me stand I'm trying the best I can When the world turns on me Where could I go? To whom could I flee? Help me, Mr chemist man There's all sorts of illnesses here Everybody needs some help How're we gonna cure it If we don't even know what it is But I'm trying the best I can Mr preacher man Won't you lift me up Won't you help me stand I'm trying the best I can When the world turns on me Where could I go? To whom could I flee? Help me, Mr preacher man Mr chemist man Won't you lift me up Won't you help me stand I'm trying the best I can When the world turns on me Where could I go? To whom could I flee? Help me, Mr chemist man

A man can read a thousand books Never learn to read between the lines A man can take a thousand photographs Never really see the light We can travel round the world a thousand times Never find a home on this earth One day we'll live a thousand years Never really learn to live I'm a man I'm a man Won't let you down again No no Understand Understand There's pleasure in the pain Oh yeah Oh Lord yes I have said a thousand prayers Never learn nothing about grace, no You can go to a thousand churches Never learn nothing 'bout forgiveness I'm a man I'm a man Won't let you down again No no Understand Understand There's pleasure in the pain Oh yeah Be a man Be a man Don't let her down again No no Understand if you can There's pleasure in the pain Oh...

about

Debut solo project of soulman Peter B from Brisbane, Australia. The album is a collection of songs written on the road and at home while he took a year off to travel, work and sing. London, Vietnam, Thailand, France, Italy and Spain are some of the places that these songs were first conceived.

The music of Peter B & The Homeless Souls is about love & loss, pleasure & pain, peace & justice, and faith & doubt. Whether it's at a humble West End cafe, major festival, or on Triple J, they like to keep it soulful.

'..a cruisy blend of Ben Harper and Jack Johnson with a dollop of Stevie Wonder'
